If my tears could bring you back, Mommy
I'd've never let you go
If life was great and life was fine
I'd've never let you go
I'm finding it hard to sleep tonight
I'm finding it hard to eat
Life goes on, but it's a lie
You're the one I seek
If my tears could bring you back, Mommy
I'd cry a thousand tears
I'd let you hold me in your arms
And destroy all my lifelong fears
But tears won't bring you back
Somehow this has been realized
I'm still crying like they can, Mommy
I guess we can all take the time to idealize
If my tears could bring you back, Mommy
I'd cry a thousand tears
I'd let you rock me in your arms
And together erase these last seven years
